The thing about Blu-Ray is that 90% of the players that are sold to the public are PS3's so in reality it isn't selling so well but the same was said with DVD too. It'll take a bit of time for the general public to adopt blu-ray because 1. They're happy enough with DVD 2. HDTV's are still not quiet the norm and 3. Because apart from buying a Sony laptop or the PS3, a bluray player can be very expensive.
